Well said! We have previously discussed Nigeria's synthetic states and largely pirate governors. Its unlikely that Nigeria's political turkeys will vote for this kind of thanksgiving.

Structuring the 36 States to 6 Regions would be like pasing the proverbal camel to the needle's eye. But deliberatly making Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja special centers from which development will spread in a ripple fashion across the country is very feasible. These centres already assume such status any way, due to their political and economic importance.
